Job Description: Q.E.D. SYSTEMS, INC., a local Marine Engineering firm has multiple immediate full-time positions available for Diesel Program Engineer Managers to provide Hull, Mechanical, & Electrical (HM&E) system support services such as: operational and maintenance experience with diesel propulsion and power generating systems in accordance with Navy Standards in the San Diego, CA and Norfolk, VA areas.
Job Requirements/skill sets: The candidate should demonstrate at least 15 years of US Navy Engineman experience in of diesel propulsion and power generating systems, with specific operational and maintenance experience demonstrated on the following engine Colt-Pielstick PC2.5, FME Opposed Piston, Caterpillar 3608, or Colt-Pielstick PA6B. Candidate must also be proficient with the use of a computer and all Microsoft Office applications.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
- 12 Years of Marine Engineering or US Navy Engineman experience with diesel propulsion and power generating.
- May use related work experience to satisfy the target education requirements
