Job Description: Serve as a Marine Surveyor in support of U.S. Navy Small Boat and Watercraft Waterfront Operations Testing, responsible for conducting boat and craft marine surveys at Government facilities, remote test sites, contractor facilities and deployed vessels. Marine Surveys will include pier side, dry-docked, and trailered boats and craft. Marine Surveyor will be required to identify and record material condition of hull, and all HM&E systems and equipment, including trailers in support of maintenance and repair.
Job Requirements/Skill Sets: Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience conducting underwater marine surveys and underwater photography, including: documenting the condition of boats and craft, identifying required repairs, developing work requirements, and overseeing overhauls, major repairs, and other required boat yard work.
Required certification include an accreditation by the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors of the National Association of Marine Surveyors
