Job Description: This position will serve as the QED Navy Combat Systems Specialist a U.S. Navy contract. The QED Navy Combat Systems Specialist will provide support in CASREP response and status of C5ISR equipment, provide recommendations concerning CVN Combat Systems readiness, assist ship’s force in maintaining C5ISR material readiness and availability work identification, analyze and conduct trend analysis on combat systems data, analyze C5ISR status reports, assist with recommendations for CVN policy and procedural changes related to CVN Combat Systems readiness, and facilitate CVN daily updates to stakeholders.
Job Requirements/skill sets:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience and fluent use of Microsoft Products.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with distance support and onboard C5ISR repair issues and coordination with ISEAs and warfare centers to track material and parts status.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ of working knowledge of analyzing C5ISR ICAVs, reviewing findings and making recommendations to TYCOM, CSO and Ship’s Force on disposition.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ of working knowledge of C5ISR maintenance, modernization, and repairs on CVNs.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience working with Ship’s CSMO and Ship’s Maintenance Officer and in estimating man-hours required to correct deficiencies.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience and working knowledge of combat systems policies, procedures, practices, and instructions.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience and working knowledge of C5ISR equipment, combat systems databases, and maintenance reports.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience of technical, management, development, and integration experience with aircraft carrier combat systems requirements occurring within the last five (5) years.
Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship required and a SECRET Clearance required. Must be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
