Job Description: This position will serve as the QED Navy Senior Supply and Logistics Specialist for a U.S. Navy contract. The QED Navy Senior Supply and Logistics Specialist will develop and maintain the habitability dashboard, coordinate supply readiness with program managers, maintain access to OneTouch, Fedlog and others as required, analyze ILS, habitability and supply data from all CVNs, and develop recommendations for CVN process and policy improvement.
Job Requirements/skill sets:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience and fluent use of Microsoft Products.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience planning, coordinating, directing and administering logistic policies and readiness requirements.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience tracking supply needs and identifying material delays that will impact the completion of work.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing oversight and all required services to assist supply department shipboard personnel in the logistics, inventory, and warehouse management process for CVNs undergoing periods of extended overhaul, restricted availability, and decommissioning.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing logistics support related to tracking activities worldwide; ensuring guidelines are met for inventory management reports from CVNs.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience identifying and mitigating critical supply and logistics constraints.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in ILS tracking and MSC processing of deliverables associated with Alteration Installation Teams (AIT) and shipboard modernization.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience working with naval ship Configuration Data managers (CDM) to ensure ship configuration and ILS records are accurate.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience providing recommendations for policy and procedural changes incident to Integrated Logistics Overhaul’s (ILO), outfitting incident to new construction, and new support programs associated with Naval shipboard support.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing supply logistics response for critical CVN material requirements.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience providing technical review and validation of logistics contents, part numbers, and national stock numbers; assessing integrated logistics support impact on the Fleet, interim plans that may mitigate transition impact and disposition of removed material/assets.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience responding to CVN ILS/Configuration inquiries including research and analysis in support of Naval Aircraft Carriers; identification of ILS elements, including parts and training needed to support shipboard systems; 3M maintenance and material self-assessment efforts; ILS tracking and processing of deliverables associated with Alteration Installation Teams (AIT) and shipboard modernization; resolution of ILS deficiencies; and support of the CNAL Carrier Maintenance Support Centers (MSC) and Naval Tactical Command Support Systems (NTCSS) applications support.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience working with other logistics government commands in an effort to resolve ILS issues relating to naval ship support, configuration and allowances.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience conducting post assessment related review of supply and SClLSlS configuration changes required for provisioning new or modified equipment and accept action items during Integrated Logistic Support Management Team (ILSMT) meetings.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience assessing ILS processes and making recommendations to improve logistics support and configuration management.
- A minimum (10) years’ experience monitoring and tracking contractor/agent provided reports on applicable material, ship’s selected system assessments and/or other carrier logistics tasks and validations.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience accessing and using the required internet supply support and configuration management programs as required. ie IHS Haystack, TDMIIS, ONE TOUCH, CDMD-OA FEDLOG, ETC.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience collecting, reviewing, integrating and analyzing historical and current maintenance and logistics data from aircraft carrier CSMPs, CASREPs, INSURV, OARS, MFOM, DRRS-N, DRRS, NDE, in-house data bases, inspection reports, visit reports and other data sources as required in order to develop statistical, graphical and text analysis of equipment reliability and maintenance trends.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience of technical, management, development, and integration experience with aircraft carrier logistics and supply requirements occurring within the last five (5) years.
Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship required and a SECRET Clearance required. Must be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
