JOB DESCRIPTION: Q.E.D.’s National Planning Activity (NPA) has an immediate opening in its Virginia Beach office for a Personnel Resource Coordinator. Develop and maintain a Hiring Plan, work with outside agencies to locate and hire qualified individuals to support government maintenance contracts, and build and track hiring packages for qualified positions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Personnel Resource functions for recruitment, interviewing, and hiring
- Ensure completion of appropriate Check-in and Check-Out processes for new hires (direct or subcontractor) working with corporate Human Resources and other related departments
- Prepare Hiring and Termination Packages
- Schedule interviews and prepare interview packages for Senior Management as directed
- Create and Maintain Position Descriptions for the entire NPA enterprise
- Coordinate, report and track all Personnel issues in conjunction with West Coast NPA HR representative
- Coordinate postings and advertisement of open position with QED Corporate HR
Job Requirements/Skillsets:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in administrative support or human resources
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively with senior Government officials
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Must be a self-starter, proactive, resourceful and ability to work independently
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, Visio) and Adobe
- Must have a current and valid Driver’s License
EDUCATION: High School diploma.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: This position requires US citizenship and will be subject to a security investigation, must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain, and maintain a Secret Clearance issued by the US Government. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.
