Q.E.D. Systems, Inc., an experienced marine engineering, planning, and ship modernization firm, is seeking a Production Controller its Chesapeake, VA office.

 Job Requirements / Skill sets:

 Production Controller shall perform scheduling of Machine Shop jobs by Scheduling the Workforce and setting priorities for completion of jobs.

• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in management of personnel and production environment
• Strong attention to detail and experience supervising all personal in proper use of installed machinery and portable hand tools.
• Experience executing all industrial safety programs and ensuring all personnel abide by PPE requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities and maintain an experienced work force.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to read and interpret Department of Defense and commercial blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Education Requirements:

High School diploma or higher

Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access:  U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and/or be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
