Job Description: The candidate will have experience in accounting, contracts, marketing, data analysis, human resources, and office management and be able to perform financial analysis of project performance (project budget vs. expenditure analysis). The candidate shall have knowledge of Government contracting, invoicing, and reporting requirements. This position will require adherence to government financial reporting requirements including monthly technical reports; tracking financial data and monitoring expenditures.

The candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Project to allow creation and modification of the program plan and milestones. Candidate will perform general administrative duties such as typing, filing, data entry, meeting organization, and scheduling. Candidate will be required to enter data into spreadsheets and databases daily, update records, proofread and format formal letters, memoranda and responses for accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.
The candidate must possess excellent communication skills since much of the work will involve close communications with program managers, subject matter experts, and other companies to gather and assemble project information. The position will require some travel (less than 5%) to customer sites and trade shows within the continental U.S. therefore the candidate should have the ability and willingness to travel.
Job Requirements/skill sets:
Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in project analysis, administrative duties and contracts/contract support. Resume should include all experience with the following:
Computer Software- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Project and PowerPoint.
Financial Analysis – Experience in reviewing project costs compared to budget and determining high cost areas for process improvement. Experience in development and issuance of purchase orders for Department of Defense projects is desired.
Administrative Support – Ability to work with limited supervision to develop technical and financial reports, set up meetings, create presentations, and track project progress against planned performance.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university.
Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and/or be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
