Job Description: Q.E.D. SYSTEMS, INC., a local Marine Engineering firm has an immediate full-time position available for a Program Analyst/Contract coordinator in our Philadelphia office.
Job Requirements/skill sets: The successful candidate will handle the day to day coordination of cost accounting tasks for assigned contracts, task orders and program deliverable reports for numerous single and multiple-award contracts, coordinating across QED entities for which Philadelphia PMs have lead Program Management responsibility as well as subcontractors.
Duties include development of contract deliverables and reports, funds monitoring, coordination of bid/no bid or other contractual documents on behalf of PM, assistance with Philadelphia Division proposal submissions, resolution of CDRL or funding issues, coordination with government COR and QED contracts dept. on behalf of PM, ensuring contract compliance.
Individual must be organized, capable of multi-tasking and working independently, able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and must maintain extensive verbal and written communications with Government agencies.
Experience/education: Successful candidate will have associates or higher degree in accounting, business or similar degree; Minimum 3 years ‘experience in financial controls, analysis and/or contract administration, strong written and verbal communication, proficient in Microsoft Office products. Experience with cost-type contracts is strongly preferred. Excellent document/file organization and time management skills.
Security Clearance:
Candidate will currently possess or be able to obtain a Secret Government security clearance. Drug screening is required before hiring.
