Job Description: Individual will serve as the Q.E.D. Quality Assurance (QA) Manager for a U.S. Navy contract. Contract requirements will include Ship Change Documentation Support (SCD), Ship Checks, Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), Configuration Management, Logistics Support, Ship Availability Planning, and In-service Engineering Agent (ISEA) support. The Q.E.D. Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will report directly to the Q.E.D. Deputy Program Manager (DPM) and will be responsible for developing and administering the Q.E.D. LCS Planning Yard Quality Assurance Program.
Job Requirements/skill sets: A minimum of 10-years of experience in Objective Quality Evaluation (OQE), Quality Assurance (QA) processes and implementation, and NAVSEA Standard Items is required. Experience must also include Quality Assurance audits, training, and inspections.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma
Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and/or be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
